Occupying a quarter acre plot in the peaceful and quiet deed restricted residential community of Rotonda West, 'Gulf Tranquility' is a spacious Luxury 3 bedroom home set in a landscaped garden backing onto a fresh water canal. Tastefully decorated & furnished, it is equipped to a high standard providing a very comfortable and spacious open floor plan with a large heated pool and alfresco dining area.
The home is fully air conditioned and comfortably sleeps up to 8 people. The spacious accommodation includes a Master Bedroom suite with a king size bed, TV, access to pool area and deck. En-suite bathroom, walk in shower, tub and twin vanity unit. Two additional bedrooms, (one with a queen size bed, one with twin beds) sharing a family bathroom along with a queen sofa sleeper.
Spacious, open floor plan living area with vaulted ceilings includes a formal living room with sliding doors fully opening onto pool/deck area. Comfortable family room, leather furniture, large HD LED TV with a Roku streaming device and DVD player. Dining room with seating for 6 people. Large fully-equipped kitchen with refrigerator/freezer/ice maker, dishwasher, and microwave. Separate breakfast area with access to pool area. Separate room with washing machine, tumble dryer, and utility sink.
The heated pool and deck area which has been recently re-modeled is fully enclosed in a mesh cage and faces South West. Catching the sun most of the day, the pool area is perfect for sunbathing while relaxing and looking over a peaceful fresh water canal and it's wildlife. The lanai is fully equipped with dining table, six chairs and three loungers.
Guests have access to a garage with electrically operated door with access to utility room, four bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, and coolers. Free Wireless Broadband (just bring your laptop).

Warm and Welcoming Florida Home That was Perfect for Our Little Getaway
Very clean and beautifully appointed, this Florida home is the ideal spot to enjoy some time away. The pool is beautiful. We loved morning breakfast on the lanai. We saw egrits and crains fluttering about the canal. We even enjoyed an evening swim. The beaches of Boca Grande, Englewood and North Venice were just a short drive away. We enjoyed collecting shells, walks in the soft white sand and relaxing in the beach chairs (that were provided by the homeowner) while we watched the calming waves of the the ocean roll in. We were also close to many shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this rental for a fun and relaxing get away.

Short and Very Sweet Stay at Tranquility
From the beginning to the end of our short 2 week stay. EVERYTHING was better than perfect. Of course, we all enjoyed the pool as well as the bikes. We saw an alligator and a family of turtles.. We especially enjoyed shelling at Boca Grande. Our family was very impressed with the furnishings in the house. We made fresh squeezed orange juice that our grand children loved making. Our master bedroom was so grand It was like a dream come true! Thanks again for allowing us to stay. We would like to book again for January for next year. We loved our stay!!!

A Great Place for a Florida Vacation!
Gulf Tranquility is wonderful when a house and the property owner combine to provide a great vacation. Gulf Tranquility is a well maintained, clean, well appointed and comfortable house. The pool was amazing. Gulf Tranquility provided privacy while still being close to shopping, restaurants, the beach and several golf courses. The owner is very accommodating and responded to the few questions we had very quickly. She made us feel more like guests than renters. We are looking forward to our 2020 stay!

ABOUT THE AREA & LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Rotonda West is a select development of individual villas and houses built on large plots set amidst canals, natural lakes, and golf courses on the Cape Haze Peninsula approximately halfway between Tampa and the Historic City of Naples. Situated just only 10-15 minute drive from the wonderful beaches at Manasota Key, Boca Grande, and the beachside town of Englewood. Rotonda West is an hour from Ft. Myers International airport and less than two-hour drive from Tampa International Airport.
It is a quiet residential area ideal for those seeking a laid back relaxing break. It is within easy reach of numerous beaches, golf courses, wildlife, various attractions, outdoor activities, restaurants, and shopping in and around the Cape Haze Peninsula. The Cape Haze peninsula is a tranquil area of natural beauty with a rich cultural history. This southwest Florida location has inviting tropical features such as white sand Gulf beaches, Gulf water fishing, boating, romantic beach views and beach sunsets.
The nearby town of Englewood has retained its old charm and offers visitors an excellent choice of cultural events, nature parks, over 27 miles of sandy beaches, fishing, boating, shopping, and excellent themed restaurants for every taste. To the south of the community, there is a protected wetland area where it is possible for visitors to observe an interesting array of Floridian wildlife including raccoons, otters, herons, bald eagles, egrets, turtles, and the occasional bobcat.
For the golfers, apart from the five golf courses operated by Rotonda Golf and Country Club, there are numerous other challenging courses in Charlotte/Sarasota County. During the summer months, they are relatively quiet and tee times can normally be arranged at short notice.
